Test run July 2014

The QUADRUM steam motor on long run during the Steam Festival in Minkiö, Finland.

The movements of the square formed piston are guided and supported by bearings which are eccentric placed around the piston and furthermore the eccentric shaft is supported by bearings mounted into the cover.
This solution give us a self-centring and statically stable supporting construction.
We have by this construction achieved an effective two-line torque transmission constructed of two traction wheels, one of which is in the piston and the second in the end of the drive shaft attached to the coupling flange.

The newest patent application has received a clearance decision and we only wait for the application of the text available to the public.
